Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic at Adams Mobile Air. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for

day-to-day tasks related to HD truck and equipment mobile climate control maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. The role will primarily be located in Terrell, TX, with a service truck to travel to various job sites. A company cell phone will be provided.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair
• Experience working with heavy equipment and fleet vehicles
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
• Experience in vehicle maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the HVAC industry is a plus
• Certifications or training in heavy equipment repair is beneficial
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
• Industry-related repair tools will be provided; mechanic must provide his/her own hand tools
• Uniforms provided

$1K weekly salary at 40 hours/week in the off-season. (Or take a few months off to spend time with family, travel, school, or side work, and come back in the Spring with a job waiting for you!)

Bonus based on hours billed per year.
